Community is important to us! More than just a language school, the German Language School of the North Bay strives to stay connected to our German community locally, in the greater Bay Area, and farther. German American School Association of Northern California (GASANC)

GASANC is an umbrella organization representing the independently-operated German language schools in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The German Language School of the North Bay is a member of GASANC.

The Excelsior German Center has a rich history of supporting German culture, German education, and senior wellbeing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen (ZfA)

The ZfA (Central Agency for Schools Abroad) in Germany oversees educational activities abroad. Schools abroad may receive organizational, pedagogical, and financial support from the ZfA.

PASCH is an initiative launched by Germany to network partner schools that place a high value on teaching the German language, spark young people’s interest in Germany and learning the language, and build an international community of learners.

United German American Societies of San Francisco and Vicinity (UGAS-SF)

UGAS-SF is an umbrella organization of 14 member organizations located in the wider San Francisco Bay Area. The organization is dedicated to promoting and keeping the German cultural heritage alive. They support German schools, newspapers, radio programs, and clubs.

As the globally active cultural institute of Germany, Goethe-Institut promotes knowledge of the German language, cultivates international cultural cooperation, and provides information about cultural, social, and political life in Germany.

Bay Area German Schools

The following directory provides access to other Northern California German Saturday schools, as well as colleges and universities which offer German language programs, undergraduate college credit courses, and degree or certificate programs. German Language School Marin believes firmly in providing our students with courses and resources which prepare them to meet their academic, professional and personal enrichment goals at other educational institutions.
